Choosing Your Room at a Resort in Hua Hin

Mövenpick Asara is a resort in Hua Hin built in tiers rather than towers: low buildings around a central lagoon, then a run of private villas closest to the beach. That layout is the reason the choice of room matters more here than at a standard hotel — the difference between a suite and a villa is not just space, it is whether you have a garden and a pool of your own.

Suites

The suites suit couples and short stays. All three have a separate seating area, a large bathroom and a balcony or terrace. The Junior Suite Pool View looks over the main pool and is the most straightforward choice. The Terrace Suite Lagoon View trades the pool outlook for the quieter water and a larger terrace. The Premium Family Suite at 260 sqm is the one for families who want the space of a villa without the villa price, with room for extra beds and a layout that keeps children and adults apart at bedtime.

Villas

Each villa has its own private pool, a walled garden and a terrace, and none of them shares a wall. The 1 Bedroom Private Pool Villa at 150 sqm is the couples’ choice. The 2 Bedroom Private Pool Villa and 2 Bedroom Villa Oceanfront sleep four adults comfortably and work out cheaper per person than two suites. The Presidential Villa Oceanfront is the largest on the property at 400 sqm with its own stretch of beachfront, and it is the one to book furthest ahead.

What Is Included

Every room and villa includes breakfast at Kampu, resort-wide Wi-Fi, use of the pools, fitness centre, rope park and Little Birds Club, and beach service. Villas add twice-daily housekeeping, in-villa dining and the option of a private barbecue on the terrace.

When to Book

November to February is high season at every resort in Hua Hin, and villas go first. May, June and September are the quietest and best-priced months, and mid-week nights are easier throughout the year. For travel and event timings, the Tourism Authority of Thailand keeps the provincial calendar.

Booking Your Stay at the Resort

Once you have chosen a room type, the rest is simple. Rates on this site are the lowest we are permitted to publish, and the current Hua Hin hotel promotions apply to suites and villas alike. Half-board rates covering breakfast and dinner across the restaurants are worth the arithmetic if you plan to eat on the property.

As a resort in Hua Hin the property is set up for long stays rather than overnights — three nights is the point at which the layout starts to make sense, and a week is when guests stop leaving the grounds entirely. Villas in particular reward the longer booking, since housekeeping, in-villa dining and spa treatments all come to you.
