Beachfront Yoga

Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin

Beachfront Yoga

Mornings at Mövenpick Asara begin quietly. Mats are laid out on the oceanfront deck, the sea is flat, and the only sound is the water. Our guided yoga and stretching sessions are open to every level — come as you are, no experience needed.

Yoga in Hua Hin has a particular quality here: you are practising a few steps from the sand, under the palms, before the heat of the day arrives. Mats, blocks and towels are provided; all you need to bring is yourself.

Session Times

Morning sessions on the beachfront deck. Booking recommended.

Why Practise Yoga in Hua Hin by the Sea

There is a reason people travel for a beach practice. The deck sits level with the water, the air is still before eight, and the horizon gives the eye somewhere to rest during balance work. Sessions run at an unhurried pace — gentle flow, stretching and breath work — so guests who have never taken a class can follow along beside guests who practise daily.

What a Session Involves

A guided sequence of about an hour: breathing to settle, a slow warm-up, standing and balance postures, then a long stretch and rest at the end. Our instructor adjusts the pace to whoever turns up that morning, and nothing is compulsory.

What to Bring

Comfortable clothes and water. Mats are laid out for you, and the deck is shaded in the early hours. Practise barefoot — the surface is smooth teak and stone.

Carry It Through the Day

Follow the session with a Sound Healing ceremony or a treatment at Asara Spa, our Thai-inspired sanctuary a short walk along the garden path. Guests often pair the two into a single morning and finish with breakfast at Kampu.
